Stella McCartney Declares 2026 the "Year of the Horse"

Stella McCartney’s Fall 2026 Campaign

Stella McCartney is setting her sights on the Fall 2026 season with a vibrant new campaign that reflects her design ethos. Titled “the Year of the Horse,” the collection embodies McCartney’s creative journey, her deep-rooted heritage, and her unwavering love for animals.

A Fusion of Heritage and Modernity

Anchored in an earthy color palette, the collection seamlessly blends archival textures and classic prints with Savile Row-inspired tailoring. True to McCartney’s commitment to sustainability, this season’s offerings are crafted from 98% responsible materials, completely free of leather, fur, skins, and feathers.

Sustainable Fabrics

The collection revisits GOTS-certified organic cotton, responsibly sourced wool, and ECONYL, a regenerated nylon fabric. New materials include “forest-friendly viscose” and acetate, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to ethical fashion.

Equestrian Inspiration

Drawing inspiration from her parents’ wardrobes, the designs feature sharp shoulders, double-breasted coats, and vintage checks. Layering and bold combinations give the pieces a contemporary twist, while draped dresses and oversized cardigans—crafted from recycled cashmere—add a relaxed yet chic vibe.

Statement Pieces

Highlighting the collection is a playful “HORSE GIRL” tank top, sure to become an Instagram favorite. The range is completed with a selection of signature bags and footwear, including the Appaloosa, the Ryder, and the iconic Falabella, now reimagined with lead-free crystals and eyelets.

Nostalgic Footwear

Returning this season are the nostalgic Elyse Platforms, along with updated versions of the Falabella chain pumps and the S-Wave sneaker.

Availability

The new collection will be available on Stella McCartney’s website and in boutiques starting May 2026.
