Gorpcore meets femcore once again in the highly anticipated third collaboration between The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen—a collection where fashion and function intertwine with effortless sophistication. First unveiled on the runway during Bahnsen’s Spring/Summer 2026 show, the campaign is now live, accompanied by an official release date.
This collection exudes the spirit of instinctive dressing, championing technical garments reimagined with fluid silhouettes and layered details that offer a fresh take on practicality. Bahnsen’s signature romantic sensibility finds unexpected harmony with The North Face’s utilitarian codes, resulting in pieces that are as poetic as they are purposeful.
Highlights include a floral-printed ripstop jacket with zip-off sleeves that effortlessly transforms into a vest, paired with matching trousers designed to convert into shorts. Throughout the collection, delicate flower motifs blossom across innovative outerwear, including a pullover elegantly cinched at the waist and a long hybrid coat that blurs the lines between city chic and wind-ready protection.
Accessories further elevate the collection, from a whimsical flower-shaped carabiner—a technical accent with a playful twist—to the standout “shandal,” a seamless fusion of sandal and shoe adorned with Bahnsen’s iconic floral appliqué.
This is no mere exercise in aesthetic mimicry; the garments genuinely deliver on performance and wearability. Marking a subtle evolution from previous iterations, the latest offering leans away from overt alpine references, presenting a collection that feels lighter, more ephemeral, and undeniably modern.
The capsule launches March 27 via The North Face and Cecilie Bahnsen’s official websites.
